Teen Ministry at Highlands Baptist Church

Highlands has a dynamic, thriving, youth ministry for teens in grades 6  to 12. We seek to glorify God by seeing teens trust in Jesus to save them from their sin.  Once born-again, we encourage our youth to grow in spiritual maturity.  Our ultimate goal is for each young person to be conformed to the image of Christ.  It is our desire to have a youth group characterized by teens who have a sincere love for God, a mind filled with the Word of God, and a life busy in the work of God.

Teen activities always include some form of Word centered exposure. The youth group is given avenues to express their love to God through serving others in the church. A Word centered Wednesday evening youth group meeting helps our youth fill their minds with God's Word.  Additionally, the Wednesday evening youth service includes a time of fun and fellowship.  A time of good-clean fun is also an important part of a Christ-centered youth philosophy.
